About This Game

山河营造 is an ancient 3D top-down colony building and survival simulation. Lead a small group of settlers into mountains, water sources, wetlands, ore veins and nearby communities. From the first shelter, plan storage, farms, workshops, roads, rooms and defenses, then turn a temporary camp into a settlement that can survive winter and form its own order.

Settlers are not anonymous workers. They have skills, traits, needs, health, old wounds and social ties. Hunger, fatigue, cold, injury, disease, room quality and relationships affect their mood and efficiency. A shortage of materials, a blocked path, an illness or an outside demand can become a new story.

Construction is a process: blueprints need materials, hauling, work-site caches, staged building and room analysis. Production grows through resource chains including food, fuel, wood, stone, clay, pottery, water, herbs and basic crafts. Players need to understand why work stalls, then adjust storage, roads, work priorities and production plans.
