Alien Skies merges the adrenaline-fueled, twitch-reflex action of classic arcade side-scrolling space shooters with the strategic progression of a modern rpg. The galaxy is under siege by a relentless extraterrestrial threat, and you are the last line of defense.

Game play

• The Station (The Strategy & Planning Phase)
  Your journey begins and ends in the safety of space stations. This is your tactical hub where you dictate the pace of the game:

• Customize Your Ride: Buy, sell, and equip a variety of ships, weapons, and advanced ship components to suit your playstyle.

• Control Your Progress: Unlike traditional linear arcade shooters, you choose your path. Browse the mission board and select from multiple operations that bridge different stations across the galaxy.

• Gear Up: Turn your fragile starter ship into an unstoppable dreadnought before launching into the unknown.

• The Missions (The Action Phase)
  Once you undock, the retro arcade action begins:

• Classic Side-Scrolling Mayhem: Battle through beautifully scripted, linear levels packed with diverse alien enemy types, hazardous environments, and bosses.

• Auto repair : Any sustained damage you take during a mission is automatically repaired once you successfully dock at the next station. Survive the gauntlet to patch up!

Difficulty :
Alien skies has two difficulty modes : standard and hardcore.

• Standard Mode: If your ship gets blown to pieces mid-mission, don't panic. You will safely return to the station you started from—and you get to keep all the credits and loot you picked up before you died. Re-arm, rethink your strategy, and try again!

• Hardcore Mode: Want a true retro challenge? Turn on Hardcore. If you die here, your save is wiped, the game ends, and you must start your journey from the very beginning.
