You don't write your spells on paper — you carve them in stone. Etched is a top-down action roguelite where you sculpt your skills themselves.

⚡ The Engraving System — the Heart of the Game

• Etch engravings earned in battle into your skill slots to change how each spell behaves.

• Lightning pierces through foes, residual current scatters on hit, chains arc across entire packs.

• The same spell becomes a completely different weapon depending on which engravings you carve, and in what order.

• Every engraving demands a price — choose carefully. What's carved cannot be undone.

🐢 Fight the Pack, Not the Monster

• Enemies don't wander alone. They come in packs — touch one, and the whole pack answers.

• Buffed elites hide among them. The ones with names like "Gale-force Giant Steel" are not to be taken lightly.

• Read the elite's buffs and decide which pack to break first — that judgment is how you survive.

🌀 Deeper, Stronger

• Clear the arena, step through the portal, descend into a deeper one.

• The deeper you go, the stronger the enemies — and the more engravings the elites carry.

• Gather drops, complete your build, and test how deep you can go.
