Story

A batch of paranormal photos meant for a TV ghost special got mixed up with ordinary ones.
Matsushita, on leave from work, is asked to sort through them.

As he separates the "normal" from the "paranormal," his everyday life begins to unravel.

Recurring nightmares. An endless sorting task. And strange visitors who come to his door.
"Throw the photos away right now. This is a warning."

Can Matsushita escape the curse hidden within the photos?

About the Game

BLACKOUT: Horror Photos is a pixel art psychological horror adventure centered around the theme of paranormal photography.

You won't just be sorting through haunted photos — you'll also encounter eccentric visitors, cryptic emails, and a creeping dread that never quite lets go.

No jump scares. This game is designed for players who prefer slow-burn, atmospheric horror over loud startles — but make no mistake, the fear runs deep.

This game contains mature themes involving death and suicide. One ending contains a scene in which a truck approaches the protagonist; the screen cuts to black before impact, followed by the sound of braking and a collision. No blood, visible injury, or corpse is shown in this scene. Another ending shows the feet of a person who died by suicide by hanging. The game also contains intense horror scenes involving ghost attacks, as well as some mild insulting or offensive language.
