AFTERCHARGE is a 3 vs 3 competitive game pitting invisible robots against an invincible security squad in high-octane tactical skirmishes. The robots must sneak around to destroy all the energy extractors on the site while the guards are tasked to spot the attackers and stop them.

Cannon is coming!

Here is CANNON, the 6th Workonic

This character will damage extractors from afar using slow-moving projectiles of energy. The amount of charges will increase how much damage the projectile can take before disappearing. Enforcers will need to pay attention to Cannon's projectiles and shoot them down before they reach their target.

We feel like this character is going to change the way enforcers are playing!

Cannon is being tested out internally and will be included in the next update.

New update!

Here it is, our very first Aftercharge client update! As we have stated earlier last week, this update is what we can call a "Quality of Life" so there is not a lot of new things that will affect experienced players. We have focused our efforts on improving the experience for new players so they stay with us longer. We have more content in the works and the next update will be much meatier.

Cosmetics :
  • New Shutdown Jams
  • New Emotes

Balance Change :
  • Liquidator's proximity mines now deal 25 damage ( previously 20 )
  • Builder's base gun spread has been reduced
  • Tinker's base gun spread has been reduced

Features :
  • Boosting your Shutdown Jam will temporarily disable the radars of the nearby enforcers.
  • Players will not automatically re-enter the matchmaker if they are thrown out of the game for having lost a player.
  • After 2 rounds played, all players will be asked if they want to rematch. If everyone agrees, the game will go on for another 2 rounds. If not, everyone goes back to the main menu to re-enter the matchmaker.
  • AI Matches in the play section now replace training grounds. They can be played with your current party of up to 3 players.
  • Reticle color can now be changed in the options menu.
  • The credit roll has been added in the options menu.

Tweaks :
  • "Losing" a round as the workonics now grants XP based on the number of extractors destroyed.
  • The matchmaker will now look for a replacement to fill an empty spot faster.
  • Liquidator's tracker shot is now a bit more permissive on hit detection.
  • Moved character details (F1) tooltip in the middle of the screen so it's more visible for new players.
  • Builder's walls can't be placed too close to a workonic to avoid issues where dead workonics would clip under the map.
  • Enforcers are a bit more aggressive in the AI matches.
  • The Enforcer tutorial is more progressive and explains more of the enforcers' gameplay.

Fixes :
  • Fix where someone refilling at the end of a match would break the game.
  • The glowing issue on character parts in the character selection menu should now be fixed.
  • Shouldn't get the empty platform in the Main Menu that was causing other issues.
  • Animations and sounds shouldn't loop in the Victory and Result screens anymore.
  • Extractor recharge will not dip if the server has a little hiccup.
  • Multiple minor fixes on the AI pathfinding.
  • Fixed the collider bug that prevented disabled workonics from being saved by a teammate.
  • Minor bug fixing in general.

About This Game

Aftercharge is a 3 vs 3 competitive game pitting invisible robots against an invincible security squad in high-octane tactical skirmishes. Six glowing structures called extractor are at the center of the gameplay and serve as the objective for both teams. The robots have to coordinate their attacks, create distractions and sneak around to destroy them. The enforcers on the other hand have to cover as much ground as possible and use their abilities wisely to spot the attackers and stop them before they can destroy all of the extractors.
