Beast Market is a free-to-play idle hunting RPG connected to the Steam Community Market.

Even while the game is closed, your hunters keep fighting and return with materials and Hunt Cores.

Hunt

Choose a hunting ground by checking each beast's weaknesses and drops.

Combat resolves automatically, rewarding materials through hunts, part breaks, captures, and Hunt Cores.

Read

Compare each material's price, quantity owned, source, and uses in the Market Terminal.

Eligible items are stored in your Steam Inventory and can be listed on the Steam Community Market by you.

About the Steam Community Market

Only eligible items can be traded. Listings and transactions use Steam's own features. The game will never ask for your Steam password or list an item on your behalf.

In-game Gold is a game-only currency and is separate from Steam Wallet funds.

Requirements for listing on the Steam Community Market

Eligible materials and blueprints can be moved into your Steam Inventory. Transfers require:

• Your Beast Market account to be at least 3 days old
  
• Ascend Rank 10
  
• Your Steam account to be eligible to list items on the Steam Community Market

The last requirement is set by Valve and cannot be lifted by any Beast Market purchase or DLC.
Finished equipment is not tradable. Only materials, gems and blueprints are.

What happens while you are offline

Hunts continue while the game is closed, but only 8 hours are banked and offline output is 50%.
Hunter's Bedroll extends the banked window to 24 hours.

About the paid DLC

The base game is free to play. There is no premium currency, no paid loot boxes,
and no way to buy combat power directly. Five optional DLC are available:

• Hunter's Bedroll — offline banking from 8 hours to 24 hours
  
• Grand Warehouse — conquest core storage from 50 to 120
  
• Tactics Computer — expanded combat readouts
  
• Homestead Charter — more farm plots and storage
  
• Workshop Assistant — keeps charm roll history

Note that Hunter's Bedroll extends time only — core storage stays at 50.
Pair it with Grand Warehouse if you do not want to lose cores over a long session away.

In Beast Market, generative AI tools are used during development to assist with the creation of certain game assets. This includes some character and monster artwork, background and UI art, item icons, and certain sound effects. All AI-assisted assets are reviewed, edited, curated, and approved by the development team before being included in the game.

All AI-generated content is pre-generated during development and included in the game as fixed assets. Beast Market does not generate AI content during gameplay, nor does it transmit player data to any AI system while the game is being played.
