Beast Market is a free-to-play idle hunting RPG about defeating beasts, collecting materials and Hunt Cores, and improving your gear and build.

Your hunter keeps fighting while the game is closed and returns with beast materials and Hunt Cores.

Hunt

Choose a target by checking its weaknesses and drops. Combat resolves automatically, with rewards from hunts, part breaks, and captures.

Craft

Open Hunt Cores for materials and blueprints, craft gear across six weapon families, and combine equipment and skills for the next challenge.

Grow

Produce materials on your farm, advance research, and keep upgrading. Idle hunting, collecting, crafting, and choosing the next beast form one connected loop.

Assign the next unlocked hunt calculated from your gear and hunt settings. Your current hunt keeps running in the background while you use the terminal.

About the Market Terminal

Prices and charts in the Playtest are clearly labelled in-game sample data. They are not Steam prices and cannot be used for real trades.
Steam Community Market and Steam Inventory features are planned to activate in a future update after review and live connectivity are complete. They are not available in the current Playtest.

Offline Progress

Offline progress banks up to 8 hours at 50% output. Hunter's Bedroll extends the limit to 24 hours.

Currently Available DLC

• Hunter's Bedroll — extends offline banking from 8 to 24 hours
  
• Grand Warehouse — raises Hunt Core storage from 100 to 240
  
• Tactics Computer — expands combat information
  
• Homestead Charter — expands farm plots and storage

Hunter's Bedroll extends time only, so Hunt Core storage remains at 100. Grand Warehouse raises it to 240.

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

In Beast Market, generative AI tools are used during development to assist with the creation of certain game assets. This includes some character and monster artwork, background and UI art, item icons, and certain sound effects. All AI-assisted assets are reviewed, edited, curated, and approved by the development team before being included in the game.

All AI-generated content is pre-generated during development and included in the game as fixed assets. Beast Market does not generate AI content during gameplay, nor does it transmit player data to any AI system while the game is being played.
