Why Early Access?

“Touhou Crisis R is meant as a love letter to classic arcade games. We have a lot of ideas for how to make Touhou Crisis R the best game it can be, but we also want suggestions from the community! ”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We anticipate Touhou Crisis R being in Early Access for up to 2 years. As we are a small studio of only 2 full-time members, adding campaign content will take up the majority of that time. We hope to be able increase the number of members we have throughout Early Access to help expedite development.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include:
- The full campaign
- Multiple playable characters
- A larger set of playable weapons
- Tools that support creation of typing mode word lists
- VR Support
- English voiceovers during cutscenes”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“You can currently play through the first stage of the game as Reimu Hakurei. Typing mode is also fully-functional with basic wordlist modification support.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We will likely bump the price up for every new level we complete, with the final price increase happening once we exit Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to collect Player feedback from the Steam Discussions board and elsewhere for suggestions on game additions and improvements. ”
