“We chose Early Access because Choban is built around an evolving open world where community feedback is essential. We want to refine gameplay, balance mechanics, and expand the world based on real player experiences. Early Access will allow us to improve the game while building it together with the community.”

“We currently plan for Choban to remain in Early Access for approximately 12 to 18 months. The exact duration will depend on community feedback and the pace of development.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include a larger world, additional regions, more animals, expanded survival mechanics, deeper progression systems, and more quests and activities. We also plan to improve multiplayer features, AI behavior, optimization, and overall game polish throughout development.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the core gameplay loop:

Explore an open-world environment.
Lead your flock between the village and the highlands.
Protect animals from dangers.
Basic survival mechanics.
Dynamic weather and day/night cycle.
Core inventory and progression systems.
Initial quests and world events.

While the game is fully playable, many systems, locations, and gameplay features are still under active development.”
