Why Early Access?

“We want players to get a taste of the multiplayer gameplay as we continue to develop the fully-fledged story. We plan on periodically implementing more content over time preceding the full release, with hopes of implementing player feedback as we go.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“When it is ready... (like December probably. Maybe college gets in the way or one of us gets cancer :^)”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the final release of GrunglePunch, we plan on including:
1. A mechanically intricate multiplayer PvP with online integration.
2. An in-depth, cooperative story exploring GrunglePunch's titular Grungles, their world, and their future. (with online integration)
3. Unlockable customization features, achievements, and levels.
4. Open features for player generated content utilizing the Steam Workshop (i.e. levels, power-ups, hats, etc.)”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The first Early Access release will come with 4 multiplayer maps and 2 story levels. The game has a dynamic arm-module system with 2 unique arms; the game has 3 unique items that affect the players; and the game has achievement-based unlockable customization features. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan on starting the game off at an economic price matching other low-cost indie games. The price will increase as we add more content with major updates, culminating in a final, still affordable, price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan on continuously creating Dev Logs about our developmental process to build a community. We are open to input about gameplay features and systems, with the desire to create a bug-free and enjoyable experience for all. However, certain aspects about the game's development will be kept private to avoid spoilers, like major plot developments in the story.”

About This Game

In an alternate reality of South America where animal fighting has become the norm, "Grungles" have been created to fulfil humanity's animalistic desire for BATTLE.

Multiplayer:

GrunglePunch contains a high-octane and boisterous multiplayer PvP mode. With up to 4 player games, players engage in free-for-all combat against one another or AI players. With a broad range of Arm Modules and Items, engage in a violent power fantasy against your friends. Knocking them out of the game's many unique maps.

Customization:

Individuals can customize their grungles with a large set of colors and hats, turning them into their very own unique little monsters. Further customization options can be unlocked as players progress through the story, discover hidden secrets, and unlock challenging achievements.

Story:

The story of GrunglePunch episodically follows the tales of many different grungles and their HEARTBREAKING experiences in this awful world. Guide them through vast complexes, difficult battles, and puzzles too confusing for their tiny, pathetic brains. Learn about the many applications of grungles and their relationship with the people who use them.
