Why Early Access?

“The development of Celestial Sentinel has relied heavily on player feedback to help balance content, add engaging features, and ensure smooth performance. Early Access has allowed us to experiment with turret mechanics and unique designs, as well as identify niche issues, helping us confirm that the game is progressing in the right direction.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently estimate that the Early Access period will continue until the official launch in the first quarter of 2027, at which point the game will feature the complete main storyline. In the meantime, we will release updates to the main story at regular intervals.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version will feature eight types of basic turrets, a wider range of advanced turrets, and additional maps, enemies, plugins, upgrades, and abilities. We will also introduce special levels after the completion of the main storyline. Furthermore, we plan to add fusion turrets and may implement necessary balance adjustments and bug fixes based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version features the complete gameplay for two chapters, each comprising 10 levels (20 levels in total), and includes 6 basic turrets, 8 advanced turrets, 2 types of plugins, 2 space station support abilities, and 17 enemy types (including 2 bosses). All these features offer a fully completed gameplay experience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of the game will increase after the Early Access period ends.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We are considering setting up a Discord channel and a QQ group, while also monitoring other social media platforms to facilitate real-time feedback and interaction with players. Additionally, we will regularly check Steam discussion groups and our customer support email. Players can choose their preferred channel from these options to report bugs or share their suggestions.”

About This Game

In Celestial Sentinel, you will be the designated security commander on the far planet of Xhono. Your bases on surface will be attacked by all kinds of enemies, including alien creatures, unmanned drones and so on.

You will be experiencing rich contents of:

  • 8 basic turrets with whole-different mechanics and more than 20 upgraded turrets with different abilities;

  • 5 different handful space station support abilities;

  • 8 plugins providing various special effects on turrets;

  • Dozens of different upgrades for all kinds of turrets;

  • Dozens of enemy units with different characteristics, abilities and formations;

  • 5 maps with different map mechanics…

…and the mighty yet expensive fusion towers and formidable colossal enemies!

 

While fulfilling your duty as a commander, you will also be exploring the story of the world. What is hiding on the planet Xhono? What has humankind been went through in this timeline? What will the commander be facing against other than incoming attacks?

Carefully build up your defense with everything provided and your own strategy, and kick the enemies away from the base!
