Sea Star is a third-person, single-player action-adventure game that tells a parallel story of survival and legacy across two distinct eras. Players control Anne Bonny as both the legendary 18th-century pirate and her modern-day descendant.

Instead of maintaining a large, permanent arsenal of primary firearms, the gameplay forces you to rely on an improvisational combat loop. You carry only a permanent sidearm and a melee weapon, using a high-mobility grappling hook to yank primary weapons directly out of enemy hands, empty the magazines, throw the empty guns to stagger threats, and repeat the cycle.

The game transitions from a vibrant, vertical tropical island in the classic era to a dense, hostile jungle hub in the modern era. Sea Star blends fluid traversal, environmental puzzle-solving, and aggressive weapon-scavenging combat, backed by an original soundtrack composed by Beverly Van Wingerden.
