Luck is random. What's on the reels is not: you put every piece there yourself.

You're lost in the dark with one tool: a slot machine and a pile of fragments to fill it with. Slot them in, spin, and fight with whatever comes up. The exit is somewhere ahead. Your build decides whether you reach it.

LUCK IN THE DARK is a turn-based roguelike where the slot machine is your inventory. Every fragment has a shape and a size, space is always short, and every spin plays only what you've packed inside.

Fights are spins. Each turn you spin the machine, and it plays the elements you placed on the reels. Will they line up into a combo? Pay out resources? Spin and find out.

Fragments are trade-offs. A big piece deals heavy damage but blocks three lines. Four small pieces combo if you find room to line them up. Every pickup forces a choice: what goes in, what stays on the floor.

The map hides in fog. You see only the tiles around you. That side corridor might hold a stash of fragments or the thing guarding it. Push straight for the exit with the machine you have, or detour for better parts and risk a fight you're not built for? Every route is a bet.

Runs last 30–40 minutes. When you die, the machine is lost, but now you know which fragments work together, and the next build starts smarter.
