Infos zum Spiel

1. Overview

In the far future, people have stopped feeling entertained. Civilization has advanced so far that anything you could ever want is instantly within reach.

Into that boredom, a casino called 'Big House' introduced a new kind of gambling to the world. A reinterpretation of something ancient humanity once called a 'game' — turned into a bet.

You, unmatched in the art of gambling. Show them all what you're made of.

2. Key Features

  • Blind Betting, Pure Mind Games — You never see your opponent's hand. Bet between 1 and 5, and trust your gut.

  • 13 Unique Action Cards — Each turn, a single random card is dealt to you. The same card can mean opposite things depending on the situation.

  • 5 Crystals, 30 Chips — Lose either one first, and it's over.

  • 20 Gamblers, Each With Their Own Style — Every opponent brings a unique passive and strategy. Only two bosses stand at the top — and neither goes down easy.

  • Roguelike Progression — Put up an entrance fee and take your shot. Lose, and it's 'Game Over.'

3. How to Play

Big House is a gambling roguelike. The rules are simple.

All you have to do is sit down at the 'machine' and place your bet.

  • Each turn, one random card is drawn from a set of 13.

  • You never know what your opponent is holding. Bet anywhere from 1 to 5.

  • Whoever bets even 1 chip higher gets to act.

  • If the bets are tied, both sides take equal damage.

You start with 5 Crystals and 30 Chips. Lose either one first, and you lose the match.

To challenge any of the 20 different opponents, you'll need to put up an entrance fee. They're gamblers too, so they won't just sit around waiting for you — they might win other bets and grow stronger, or lose and grow weaker. The stronger the opponent, the higher the entrance fee — and the higher the prize.

Run out of money and you won't be able to gamble with anyone. That's it — instant 'Game Over.' Don't worry too much, though. The House is always willing to lend you a little.

4. The Story

A peaceful world where you can get anything you want without any effort at all... and yet, somehow, an incredibly boring one.

Into that world, a casino called 'Big House' offered people something new — a betting game reinterpreted from an ancient human pastime once known as a 'game.'

Crude graphics... machines whose purpose no one could quite explain... rules that felt shockingly unfair... and a character all your own. So what did people think when they saw it?

That's right! It was a massive hit!

Which, honestly, makes sense. To people who thought "gambling" meant tossing a holographic die and calling it a day, this was something completely fresh. What was it they called it again... 'retro,' was it?

Anyway. As Big House kept winning and winning, misfortune eventually caught up with it.

Gamblers with abnormal luck. The Blacklist.

They never leave Big House. Unfortunately, the House is always open to anyone, day or night.

Time is on no one's side... And the losses just kept snowballing...!

The losses couldn't be ignored any longer. It was time for all-out war against them.

But... no one was willing to step up. Facing gamblers that terrifying, in a fight no one could promise to win, everyone held back.

Except! For exactly one person.

There's a rumor, famous throughout the gambling world. A gambler's gambler, who wins at gambling against any opponent, no matter what.

'The Professional.'

He walks into Big House — the casino everyone else turned their back on — without a shred of hesitation.

Can he really save Big House?

We're rooting for your 'Game Clear.' Truly.
