On a strange computer in a dimension outside of time, a program is analyzing memories collected across four eras. What do they tell? What connects them? And what is your part in this story? Investigate and piece together the chronological order of events.

Each memory is a frozen diorama, to be observed from every angle. You uncover clues by exploring the scene, cross-reference them to answer the case's questions, then place the events on a timeline to reconstruct what really happened.

Four cases, one anomaly

A man burns in the snow, conquistadors die in the jungle, an astronaut drifts into the void… In every era, strange events lead to someone's death. Each story is unique, yet something seems to tie them all together. And you, in this story, are you content just to watch?

A retro-futuristic world, rendered in phosphor green

Scanlines, glitches, the green glow of an 80s terminal: ANOMAL unfolds through the interface of a fictional analog program, which displays, sorts, and overlays memories like so many files to analyze. You may find, among these pixels, a story far more human than it first appears.

ANOMAL contains depictions of death and crime scenes rendered as frozen 3D stylised dioramas. Scenes include a man burned alive, a drowning, and deaths in a space setting. No blood, no gore, no sexual content. Themes include mortality, obsession, and loss.
