“Axis Flip is made by a small, self-funded indie team, and Early Access lets us keep developing the game sustainably while paying our artists and musicians fairly.

Just as importantly, EA lets us build Axis Flip alongside the people who actually play it. As a competitive multiplayer game, things like map balance, movement feel, and netcode are best refined with a real community putting them to the test. We want player feedback to directly shape how the game evolves - which characters, maps, and modes we focus on, and how the core gravity-flipping gameplay is tuned.

We're committed to seeing Axis Flip through to a full release: actively developing it, listening to feedback, and continuing to add content and polish throughout the EA period.”

These are our current intentions rather than firm commitments - part of the point of Early Access is to let player feedback guide where we take the game, so our plans may shift as we learn what the community wants most.”

“Axis Flip is fully playable in online multiplayer right now. The current build includes:

- Core gravity-flip platforming - each player controls their own gravity direction, the central mechanic the whole game is built around

- Online multiplayer over Steam, with friend invites and lobbies

- Multiple game modes - Free-for-All, Team Deathmatch, and Capture the Flag

- A roster of playable characters

- Several official maps, plus a range of weapons and powerups

- A built-in level editor with Steam Workshop support, so players can create and share their own maps

As noted, the game is at an early stage and currently uses placeholder artwork and music in several places, which we'll be replacing as development continues.”

Tentang Permainan Ini

You are a wizard.

Unfortunately, gravity is broken and nobody knows why. Pick a

direction to fall in, hurl spells at your friends, and try not to hit yourself

with a ricochet bolt you launched at your own face. This is Axis Flip.

Every time you respawn, you choose which direction gravity pulls you - up, down,

left, or right. Use this to reach powerups, ambush enemies from unexpected angles,

or simply fall in a new and exciting direction. All directions are equally valid.

All directions are equally fatal.

Combat is entirely spell-based. Ricochet bolts bounce off every wall - including

back at you. Ice spray coats the ground in slippery patches. Grapple hooks let

you swing into enemies at full speed. Tethers can be anchored across the arena

for truly deranged swing angles. Master the trajectory. Own the arena. Apologize

to your teammates later.

The Arcane Council promised this "wouldn't be a problem." That was before Akimbo

cast an anti-gravity rune too fast. Now everyone's just falling sideways.
