Cooking Carnage is a game made exclusively by students, produced as an in-year project at the school Supinfogame Rubika, from Valenciennes (France).

It’s the beginning of a long day of work. You find yourself in a small kitchen, a place that belongs to you only, where you can already hear the humming of your microwave yearning for all the good meals you two will cook and serve together, today. You’re at ease : it’s your own workplace, after all ! And soon enough the counter bell is ringing, as arrives your first customer.

It’s an alien, just like the others, and just like the ones that will come here right after. Oh, you’re used to it now, and you already know what this one will order ! A jelly, made with your signature recipe, cooked with lots of love and… Bits from your last shift ?

Ah yes, the economy is struggling. That’s what you’d say, if it weren’t for these excentrics coming back again, and again to order more of these jellies they’re so fond of. Everytime’s the same, alien meat has its worth, so you work, you work, you run in your small kitchen and you prepare your cooking utensils. You kill an unlucky customer, slice and dice, serve another, kill another, serve a third one ; that’s your routine.

Look, your customers approach and quickly fill the seats at your counter. To each their own specific order and… Fresh ingredients to get from these walking meat bags, should you care to grab them.

Kill the most troublesome orders ! Make room at your counter for others, and collect the ingredients you’ll need to cook for the remaining customers.

Rush between your cooking utensils, make the most of them by keeping them busy and churn meals as fast as you can; optimize, and go at it even faster !

Serve your customers before they get fed up waiting ! Choose which one to please the best… A quick order means a happy customer, and even bigger tips.

Keep upgrading your kitchen between each shift, and collect a large variety of modifiers ! More turnover, more productivity, more money.
