Feathered Citadel is narrative deck builder in a dark fantasy world inhabited mostly by Bird Kin folk. 

The world is coming to an end, birds fly in circles looking for a place to land as the sea rises and kingdoms fall. Something is lurking in the skies even higher, said to come heralding the end. Use your influence to move closer and closer to the Feathered Citadel in hopes of finding a way to stop the end. 

Traveling around the world : Exploring and Engaging

You will move around the world map with the nodes exploring the vast and deep corners of the Tree who's name has been forgotten. 

Explore the map

• a mouse only game - Left click and right click, but you can use WASD to move around the over world map to look around, and tab to hide the HUD.

• Interact with the narrative scroll, choosing what you want to do and using your narrative cards to do checks on actions. 

For example you want to convince some guards you are a noble, it will require a check of 7 charisma. Your character stats have 5 and you are holding some cards in your hands that indicate charisma you can add these together to match the 7 requirement and successfully move ahead with the option.  You can fail and see what happens, 

- there's nodes you can clear which unlock paths around the map and then trigger previous nodes, and the more you do on a node other options may appear on the node allowing for further exploring.

There's equipment and so you have two decks your narrative deck and your weapon decks. Your narrative deck will be upgrade at soothsayers and public houses and more, the Weapon decks will change depending on the weapons you have equipped and what you are holding. A black smith will be able to upgrade your weapons if you have the right material and currency, which would then alter your cards. 

- there's shops to purchase goods and trinkets for your journey.

- a mystic bird who lets you put a skull back together to claim some relics, 

- There's NPCs traveling the map on their own quests. 

- There's a meteor clock counting down to the end of the world (fun!)

- Enemies all have different drop chance for items, goods, material are the more common drops while equipment being the more slightly more uncommon, and weapons and rare trinkets being rarer drops.

The goal is to reach the feathered citadel and stop the end from happening.
