Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

This game contains stylized Metroidvania-style combat in which enemies briefly break apart into their component materials (fur and bones, feathers, leaves, metal and bolts, etc.) when defeated. There is mild language (occasional use of words such as “hell” and “damn”).

The story involves a corrupted AI that turns machines against humanity, including themes of war and the long-term consequences of AI deciding that humans are holding civilization back. There are also mild psychological/horror elements, such as the player character having no memory and occasionally experiencing glitchy visions of faces saying “help me.”

There is no sexual content, nudity, realistic gore, self-harm, or depictions of drug abuse. There are currently no depictions of alcohol use (this may change in future updates).
