Dracanea: The Ragtag Regalia is a comedy RPG adventure about washed-up hero Riker Tierros, who once saved the kingdom as a teen legend. As an adult now, he’s a slightly bored, slightly overexposed celebrity—until adventure calls, once again. Alongside his sharp-tongued partner Eevie, Riker must rally a crew of oddball heroes to stop the Rebel Army’s plot to conquer the kingdom.

This special preview demo lets you skip the Prologue sequence and play through the entirety of Chapter 1! Explore two separate dungeons (one has a baseball field!), get pumped with four different boss battles, start collecting recipes in your Recipedia, and start to get acquainted with the kingdom of Dracanea and its wild cast of characters!

Overview

Dracanea: The Ragtag Regalia takes cues from oldschool 2D RPGs while playfully subverting classic tropes, striking a balance between ridiculous character-driven humor and dramatic storytelling.
After living a grown-up life of mundane luxury, Riker Tierros is called back into action, alongside his better-half Eevie Green, and his best friend Christoph Albus. The King of Dracanea plans to explore outside their kingdom's shores, but a looming rebel movement seeks to thwart the crown's actions for their own nefarious deeds. What nefarious deeds? No one really knows. But they're super evil, that's for sure.

Along the way, Riker seeks to build a group of other grown-up heroes seeking to set out on adventure once again, teaming up with old friends of Riker, including Viola Serif, a small-town farmer who knows little about adventuring, and Maloria Moffit, the eccentric alchemist extraordinaire with magic attacks as strong as her odor. Other faces pop up along the way, with a total of over 8 playable characters.

Embark on a trip like no other! A fun-filled story stuffed with snacks, doggies, camping, puzzles, and slapstick unfolds! Onwards and upwards! Adventure awaits! (And yes, you can pet the dogs.)

Please note! This is an early-access demo and thus there may be some bugs or glitches present which are NOT representative of a finished product. It is intended for players to get to get to know Dracanea's colorful cast of characters and start learning about the story in advance of its 2027 release.
