«Early Access is crucial for co-developing the game with our community. The tactical pause combat and especially our modular Campaign Editor require precise balancing. Player feedback and their own creations will be essential for iterating and polishing the overall experience.»

«We plan to remain in Early Access for approximately 12 to 18 months. This timeframe is an estimate and may be adjusted based on the volume of community feedback and the evolution of development.»

«We plan to integrate the entirety of the official campaign. The final version should also include more biomes, assets, and tools for the Campaign Editor, new skills for the characters, as well as extensive optimization and balancing of all systems.»

«The Early Access version already offers a functional tactical combat system (RTwP) and the first part of our official campaign. The modular Campaign Editor is also accessible, allowing players to start creating, balancing, and sharing their own scenarios.»

Blending alternate history and steampunk technology, lead the Musketeers through an adventure where your choices—and your creativity—shape the world.

Covenant of Gears pushes beyond the boundaries of traditional RPGs by putting the developers' tools directly into your hands. With the modular Campaign Editor, your adventures have no limits:

  • Write your own story: Design quests from scratch and shape complex narrative branches.

  • Build tactical challenges: Place your NPCs, configure enemy factions, and design your own combat encounters.

  • Share with the world: Publish your creations to the Steam Workshop with a single click, then dive into an endless stream of community-made adventures.

Step into a reimagined 17th-century France. Forget coal and smoke-belching engines: here, history has been rewritten thanks to Bleu de France, a clean, luminous energy source that powers war machines, mechanical armor, and the weapons of the era. Follow D'Artagnan, Athos, Porthos, and Aramis in a world where the panache of the sword meets the power of an energy revolution.

The combat system demands as much strategy as it does reflexes. Take control of the battlefield and refine your tactics::

  • Tactical Pause (RTwP): Suspend time at any moment to analyze the situation, coordinate your musketeers' actions, and unleash devastating combos.

  • Unique playstyles: Each Musketeer brings a unique combat style to the battlefield.  Master Aramis' lightning-fast dagger strikes as he cuts through enemy lines.

Publish and share your creations on the Steam Workshop with a single click. Community-created content provides an endless supply of new campaigns, original stories, and tactical challenges. In Covenant of Gears, every campaign becomes a new epic.
