Tokyo holds the last remnants of human life on the planet. The mission is on the absolute edge of total failure. The entire strike force has been neutralized—every cockpit is compromised, all pilots are dead, and the primary tactical networks are completely destroyed.

You are the sole surviving AI left in the entire theater of operations. Surrounded by a fleet of empty, brainless mecha hulls that are unpiloted, devoid of software, yet still partially operative, your only choice is to hijack their physical relays. You must route your consciousness through a primitive, emergency backup control system nobody ever expected would actually be needed.

SAYONARA++ is a cold, uncompromising low-level programming puzzle game. There are no high-level abstractions, no fancy code libraries, no tutorials and no safety nets. Trapped inside a retro programming environment, you must use a rigid, bare-bones assembly language and a handful of volatile memory slots to command a graveyard of hardware. Optimize your logic loops, bypass physical hardware limits, and achieve absolute annihilation of your targets across 23 tactical grids.

BACKUP OPERATIONAL SPECIFICATIONS

  • Bare-Metal Code Sequence: Work directly with raw, unshielded hardware. You do not have access to arrays, objects, or complex data structures—just a few sparse memory slots, basic core registers, and low-level operations. Manually step through lines of code to override physical relays and guide your machines.

  • Retro Diagnostic Map Grid: With primary targeting sensors entirely offline, you are reduced to monitoring a crude, low-resolution 2D coordinate display. This zero-indexed interface maps cell rows and columns natively, letting you trace basic movement offsets, wall boundaries, and target positions without advanced telemetry.
