You play as Chance, an Ashford runaway surviving in the poisoned wastelands beneath Aetherium’s shining sky cities. When the Skyhelm Military forces him into the Dragon Trials, he bonds with Nightscale: a massive, sentient dragon with missing memories and secrets everyone seems desperate to hide.

Their bond offers freedom, safety, and a life Chance never thought possible—until he realizes Skyhelm may be another kind of cage.

Meet the Love Interests Who'll Shape Your Future In the Full Game

Get acquainted with a cast of male riders and learn their hidden agendas. Each want you and Nightscale to pick him and his dragon to partner with, but you must tread carefully. 

• Warner - The kind, veteran, team leader who's fiercely loyal to Skyhelm. His dragon bond was his salvation.

• Fangu - The quirky, loveable, cat-boy and his goofball bird dragon who have been stolen from their home nation.

• Sabaste - The refined exiled prince of an enemy territory with a dragon who's losing his mind.

• Komano - Your beefy bff from Ashford has been here a while--and doesn't seem to be holding together very well.

Sentient Dragons Date One Another

When you date a rider, your dragons date each other.

The psychic bond you share with your dragon means a four-way bond is formed.  Rider dates rider and dragon dates dragon. 

Dragons are eager to find a mate, and you're eager to make your soul-bonded dragon happy. 

Turn-Based Strategy Where You Build the Best Dragon Team!

• Fine tune your dragon team to maximize Dragon Class effectiveness: Fire, Ice, Light Magic, Earth Magic, or Brawler.

• Optimize your team each time you unlock more powerful riders and dragons.

• Build your deck with stronger cards you win in the gacha

• Design the best hand possible for each dragon

• Feed your dragons the different foods you earn to level them and increase their power stats

The more characters you unlock, the more story episodes become available!

A Lore-Rich, Urban Fantasy World

The Verdant Coalition, Icehelm, The Pyrelands, The Mystic Octave, each nation has their own breed of native dragon--except one.  Aetherium placed progress ahead of environmental protection.  The result is that the most powerful nation has the fewest dragons.  

Now that dragons have become the ultimate war machines, Aetherium does what it must to maintain its military dominance--no matter who they must crush beneath their boots.

And yet, some dragons come to Aetherium for refuge from their even more terrible nations.  

Chance is getting his first taste of geopolitics in a country that prefers their population to stay ignorant.  The more he learns about his world, the more terrible his situation becomes.
