A game about getting things done in real life

The Clearing is a small game that helps you get things done in your real life. The things you do in your life transform your clearing.

Choose the things you want to get done today

Each day, you make a commitment to the fox. Choose the things you want to accomplish that day, then go out and get them done.

When you do, the fox rewards you with points that you can use to remove debris from your clearing and build beautiful things. Little by little, you can transform the small clearing into a beautiful garden.

Your real life changes the garden

Use what you've earned to pull weeds, clear rubbish and repair things that have been left to fall apart. As you restore the garden, the rain fades, the fog lifts, the sun comes through, the fox returns and the fire grows.

Every bit of restoration has to come from something you did in real life.

The Clearing is for people who want to transform their lives, build things and grow. It's especially helpful for people with ADHD who find that having a visual reward can make it easier to get things done.

From the developer

I'm a solo developer, and I make games that help me do things in the real world. My previous games were about building habits around meditation and mindfulness.

This one is about building a life by getting things done. As someone with ADHD, turning challenges into games has helped me build habits and get things done. I'm hoping this will help you too.
