A roguelite about weaponising your mistakes. It happens to be pinball. Night shift at a sorting office. Flip parcels into the right chute, or misroute them onto the Backlog Rail, where they gain value while they wait. Fill the rail and everything crashes back at once, worth far more than before.

Tentang Permainan Ini

Nothing is lost. It is only filed.

You are the night-shift clerk at a sorting office. Parcels drop onto the routing table and you flip them into the correct district chute. Two buttons. Left flipper, right flipper.

Misroute one and it does not die. It climbs onto the Backlog Rail above the table, and it starts earning.

The rail is not a punishment. It is a savings account.

Every parcel parked on the rail gains value while it waits. The slot it sits in prints hotter. The sound of filing rises a semitone with every slot you fill. And when the rail reaches capacity, the entire backlog crashes back onto the table at once — worth several times what any of it was worth going up.

Expert play is engineering your own disaster and surviving it.

The right shot changes

Chute assignments rotate mid-shift. The same physical shot is correct or catastrophic depending on what is in your hands and what the table has just decided. Skill is reading and re-planning in flight, not memorising geometry.

Core Features

The Backlog Rail

Six pigeonholes above the table. Fill them and everything files back at once, staggered, so you can actually play the cascade rather than survive it. It is the loudest four seconds in the game and the only time the sheet turns pink.

Thirty Clerks, and the pairs that break them

Clerks change the rules, not the numbers. Mrs. Adderley pays for filed post and nothing for delivered. The Night Registrar doubles every cascade and cuts your rail to three slots. Put them together and you have a build that never delivers anything and cycles tiny cascades forever. A third of the roster inverts what the game is rather than how much it pays.

The table is the build

Requisitions are bolted brass, not stat lines. By the end of a shift the playfield is visibly, structurally different from where it started.

Two buttons

Left flipper. Right flipper. That is the entire control scheme, it works on a trackpad or a thumbstick or two keys, and it is why this is a Steam Deck game first and a desktop game second.

The Stamp Album

Every parcel type you successfully deliver is pressed into an album, with a fragment of Drifted City text on the reverse. A delivery regulation. A clerk's marginalia. A district that is not on any map.

It gates nothing. It unlocks nothing. It is there to be curious about.

Also includes

  • Branch Offices. Alternate tables, each with its own geometry and one native rule

  • Daily seeds, identical for every player, with a leaderboard

  • Overtime - endless mode for the score chasers

  • A deterministic simulation: same seed, same inputs, same run, every time

  • Full colourblind support. Every district is identified by shape and by value, never by colour alone

  • Two buttons, remappable. No mouse required at any point

  • No ads, no microtransactions, no live service, no roadmap. It is a game and then it is finished.
