The music is the game

Most survivor shooters play a song behind the fight. In Encore the song is the fight. You are the performer, the arena is your stage, and the soundtrack only grows when you play well.

Fire on the beat

Every shot that lands on the beat is a guaranteed critical hit. Press the Rhythm Action in time and your next shots hit even harder. Miss it and you feel it.

Build the song

Chain kills without getting hit and the track adds a new layer at every combo milestone, until the whole band is playing with you. Take a hit and the song drops a layer. Earn it back.

Instruments are weapons

Unlock guitar, bass, drums and synth in the shop between waves. Guitar fires balanced homing shots, bass is rapid fire, drums pound out heavy area damage, and synth fires homing precision shots. Evolve them into forms like The Shredder and the Machine Gun Guitar, spend combo on riffs, dodge through danger, and stack upgrades that trade power for risk.

Two stages, fifteen waves

Fight through the Forest and Cyber City, with a boss waiting at the end of each set. Hit the shop between waves, take your chances on random encounters, and push deeper every run.

A full lineup

Twelve performers, from The DJ and The Rockstar to The Pianist and The Metal Head, each with a passive that changes how you play. Four difficulty settings take you from a first gig to Mastery.
