Heart Light: Knight of the Gnomes is a first-person dungeon crawler set in a grim fairy-tale world inherited by gnomekind after humanity vanished. Put on your trusty tool belt, dust off your cap, and become the first of your kind to uncover the fate of the ancient builders.  As you stray further from sunlight, your perception of the dungeon changes, opening new opportunities and greater dangers.

Your courage and Heart Light paint the world in bright, happy colors. As your resolve is tested, something older and far less cheerful starts to bleed through. What you perceive will change the dungeon in ways that both help and hinder your journey.


Socket Memory Crystals into your Rune Tablet to call upon Will-o-Flare, Ward, Repel, and other spells. Rearrange your crystals and link their conduits to strengthen your magic.


Mark your path, leave a warning, or turn the dungeon walls into your personal canvas.  Your wall marks are permanent bread crumbs you leave behind, helping you navigate the labyrinths of the World Below.


Delve deeper to recover ancient records and piece together the mystery of humanity’s end, but save enough light for the journey home. As your Heart Light weakens, treasure becomes more valuable, monsters grow more dangerous and the dungeon itself changes in unique ways. Stay too long and panic will take hold, forcing you to drop everything as you flee to the surface.
