Why Early Access?

“We want to make sure the game aligns properly with player requirements for this genre of game, and we would like a period to test our innovative additions to this genre with players before committing to them.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“No more than one year; we will try to keep it to six months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The early access version will only contain the Endless Mode and a smaller number of features from the full game that we are most eager to test. The full game, once launched, will contain vastly more features, a complete single-player campaign mode, and will also switch to free-to-play alongside an optional cosmetics store and optional DLC content that will be both free and paid.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version features the Endless Mode path of the game. This has the following features:

1. A full guided tutorial for the game
2. Basic buildings for the city
3. Basic tech trees for the development buildings
4. Simulation functionality for the city to run endlessly
5. World Map and outside world events
6. Faction System

You should have good replayability in this build, with each session providing hours of gaming time and a degree of randomization of the game events so no two runs are identical.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, there will be a paid Early Access period to assist with development support for us. The money spent on the game at purchase will be converted to in-game currency at launch when the game goes free-to-play- so nobody will be losing their initial investment in the Early Access version of the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will have an aggressive roadmap of feature releases and patches every six weeks and will be using in-game feedback, the Steam Community, and our Discord for regular gamer feedback.”
