About This Game

You were woken below the surface given only one command: Seize Yme, the Titan that chose treachery when they were needed the most. Recruit the expendable weirdos you come across to carry out your will, and do anything in your power to get just a little further in this grid-based strategy game. 

- Delve into the Ever-Changing Ruins - 

Levels are randomly assembled and filled with treasure, traps, and monsters.

Your decisions about how to explore will have grave consequences. Do you attempt to dig straight to the exit? Do you fight your way through some monster or lure them away? Do you have enough time to loot? And should you split the party? (Trick question. Always split the party)

- Defeat Monsters using the Perfect Synergy...? -

Unfortunately, your favorite adventurer who had a really powerful combination of power-ups was eaten by a worm.

Throughout your run you have little control over what power-ups you find and each adventurer will probably not last for a long time. To survive you will need to take whatever you can get and be ready to change your strategy at any moment.

Make it work. Somehow.

- Expand Your Mind -

Knowledge of the world increases your chances of surviving and lets you uncover secrets! 

Find ancient texts written in the time prior to Ymes betrayal. Interact with monsters, power-ups, and challenges to gain unfamiliar memories. Search through an old transport system, a magical forge, and a mutated extraction site. Learn about the failed project which would have warded off disaster.

- Brutal and Forgiving -

Death is waiting behind every corner, and many adventurers will be impaled, burnt, thrown into pits, eaten, or transmuted. Sometimes, the dying adventurer was your last and your run will end, but often there will be others left. Don't lose hope! There is almost always a way forward, no matter how dire the situation.
