Why Early Access?

“The Game is still in development; only 3 playable stages, 2 boss fights”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Caribbean Side Quests to reach full release in Summer 2028. Until then, we will continue expanding the game with new content, features, and improvements based on development progress and player feedback.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“More story content, additional stages, and new characters will be added as development continues. The game will place a much stronger focus on card battles, with significant expansions planned for that system. The FMV cutscenes will also be updated and improved to better support the overall story and player experience”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access build is playable and includes three stages, two boss fights, magical card collection, keyboard support, Xbox-style controller support, and early FMV story content. Art, balance, UI, cutscenes, and levels are still being improved.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The current price reflects the game's Early state. As we continue to add new stages, story content, characters, gameplay features, and overall polish, the price may be adjusted slightly”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the Caribbean diaspora, players, and supporters of Caribbean culture by inviting feedback through Steam discussions, reviews, playtest notes, and community conversations. Their input will help us refine the gameplay, characters, folklore references, difficulty, card battles, and story direction as the game grows through Early Access”

Caribbean Side Quests is a 2D action-adventure inspired by Caribbean folklore, legends, and culture. Immerse yourself in a vibrant world brought to life with authentic Jamaican voices, rich island accents, colorful characters, and plenty of Caribbean humor that will have you listening keenly and laughing along the way.

Join a young hero on an epic journey across mysterious islands, battle mythical creatures, collect powerful magical cards, and uncover the secrets behind a growing darkness threatening the Caribbean. Explore vibrant worlds, complete exciting quests, and discover the legends that have shaped generations.

Caribbean Side Quests is currently in active development by Techsolja Interactive Limited. As an independent Caribbean game studio, we rely on community support to help us continue building the game, adding new adventures, improving gameplay, and sharing the rich culture, folklore, and spirit of the Caribbean with players around the world.
