PIAST RTS DEMO CHALLENGE Build the Stronghold within 15 minutes. Piast is a real-time strategy (RTS) game set in medieval Europe. Players take on the role of Piast, a settler leasing land from Prince Popiel in the hope of uncovering the riches of a long-abandoned mining site. According to legend, the land once teemed with gold beneath its soil, but centuries have passed since miners last worked here. Now the forest has reclaimed the area. It falls to Piast to clear the land, establish a new village, and attract settlers — especially miners, but also craftsmen and other workers — to rebuild what was lost. Through resource gathering, construction, and population management, turn this forgotten wilderness into a thriving settlement. Find the long-lost gold, buy the land from Popiel, and construct a grand Stronghold. WIN CONDITION: Complete all 3 objectives 1. Acquire the land from Prince Popiel — Justice Virtue 2. Discover the gold — Faith Virtue 3. Build the Stronghold — Wisdom Virtue QUICK START 1. Press B to open the Build Menu. 2. Place a Lumber Camp and a Quarry to gather resources. 3. Expand your village and work toward the Stronghold.
