About This Demo

Welcome to the Slay The Saxons DEMO! Cracked Skulls Await!

The Slay The Saxons Demo is a free, bite-sized taste of our tactical rogue-lite experience. It features a fully realized sandbox campaign slice so you can learn the ropes of position-control, build broken ability synergies, and experience the charmingly cheesy atmosphere of ancient Saxony firsthand.

In this demo, you'll experience the core gameplay loop: fighting waves of enemies, recruiting new Viking warriors, leveling up, learning new abilities and perks, customizing your characters at campsites, and facing off against 4 different bosses.

What's Included in this DEMO:

  • Bite-Sized Grid Battles: 12 waves of fast, snappy tactical combat optimized for clear, fun, and rewarding turn-based play sessions.

  • Rich Character Personalities: 8 distinct playable characters to experiment and fall in love with!

  • Rogue-lite Replayability: Dozens of choices between characters, abilities, passive traits, tactics and playstyles, allowing a huge variety of replayability for a demo.

  • Strategic Campsite Loop: Manage your progression budget, heal wounded allies, and systematically prepare your build for upcoming enemy threats.
