Reviews

“The narrative threads culminated in an endgame that left me fulfilled in such a way that I haven't stopped thinking about it since.”
5/5 – Zephyr Runner

“As I played Never Gives Up Her Dead, I kept coming back to the same thought: 'wait, there's MORE?' This game is BIG, featuring lots of areas that are mostly separate and self-contained.[...]Each area is almost like a game all on its own, with its own vibes and style of puzzle. It made for really fun and varied gameplay. I really enjoyed this game!”
5/5 – Aluminumoxynitride

“This gave me the experience I'd always hoped to get from the Infocom games and other "classics"”
5/5 – Adam Biltcliffe

Travel through space and time to save your ship!

Time is running out after a meteor strikes your interstellar starship. While the crew is under full alert, only you seem to notice the strange red portals opening up throughout the ship.

Explore ten different worlds, learn the truth of your destiny, and confront the mysterious figure who has been haunting you from the start in this epic sci-fi adventure.

Stonehenge drawn in pencil then inverted.

Playing the game:

This game is a long and challenging text adventure. Most experienced players of interactive fiction will take around 15-25 hours to complete this game.  At 360,000 words, this is one of the largest games ever written in the Inform system.

The difficulty level of this game was designed for those who are already familiar with parser-based interactive fiction and its conventions. If you're not familiar with what the commands INVENTORY or X ME would do, I recommend you try a shorter adventure first; recommended resources for finding shorter games include the Interactive Fiction Database and the Text Adventure Literacy Jam games.

This game works with most screen readers and many players who are visually impaired have found it to be enjoyable.
