Don't try to weave through the enemy's barrage. Your ship wasn't built to run. You point the bow straight into the swarm, tear through their formation with overwhelming firepower, and intercept anything that gets in your way. Destroy them before they destroy you — that's the only rule out here.

Survival means constant decision-making in the heat of battle. Upgrade your main weapon? Expand your support units? Shore up your foundation with passives? Reshape your entire combat style with a weapon mod? Every choice layers on top of the last, and no two runs cut through the same battlefield the same way.

The Jackpot Drops After the Fight, Too.

Waiting for the captain who survived that white-knuckle breakthrough is a shady — but surprisingly honest — space merchant. He'll offer you a round of Slingshot, wagering the space mineral "Spikes" you picked up in combat. Pull the slingshot and watch a cascade of rewards come pouring out.
