LIMINAL is a first-person exploration and combat game set in a vast, seeded world. Cross into dozens of procedurally generated realms, fight growing waves of creatures, and turn the orbs they leave behind into new weapons and upgrades. Keep pushing through the portals to reach the end of your journey.

Every threshold leads somewhere stranger.

Look through a portal before you step across it. Empty hotels, abandoned malls, flooded galleries, impossible pools, lunar offices, cloud cities, and buried spaces each have their own architecture, weather, light, and sound. A journey that begins beneath open skies becomes more unsettling as you descend into hostile realms and the spaces below them.

Explore without a map or a trail of objective markers. Learn the landscape, remember the way back, and find your next crossing.

Keep moving. Keep fighting.

Start with a revolver and face creatures with different movements, attacks, and weaknesses. Enemy waves grow more demanding as you progress, and boss encounters test the weapons and upgrades you have collected. Your shots leave visible wounds, can sever enemy limbs, and damage breakable surfaces in the world.

Defeated enemies drop orbs. Collect them on foot or shoot them out of the air, then bring your earnings back to the shop.

Build the loadout for your next crossing.

Spend orbs on weapons, equipment, and healing. Unlock a pump shotgun, add a laser sight or flame ammunition to your revolver, and move faster with cybernetic legs. Discover items with effects that stack, and upgrade the shop's reward drum for better item odds, rarer rewards, and more reward slots.
