ABC Music Maker is a music creation studio built around ABC notation — a compact, human-readable text format for composing music. Write melodies as plain text, hear them instantly through your MIDI setup, and route live MIDI output to any software or hardware on your system.

At its core is a MIDI server that sequences and delivers note events with precise timing, connecting to DAWs, virtual instruments, hardware synthesizers, and more.
