About This Game

First Colony is a turn-based 4X strategy game inspired by classic colony-building games.

Establish a foothold on a newly discovered continent, explore the wilderness, build settlements, gather resources, and defend your people against hostile barbarians and dangerous wildlife.

Unlike traditional colony-building games, production is not confined to settlement screens. All production sites are built directly on the world map, creating a growing network of settlements that expands across the frontier.

A Solo Developer Project

First Colony was developed primarily during nights and weekends over more than six years by a solo developer. Currently, it represents a focused vertical slice of a much larger dream project and aims to capture the spirit of classic 4X strategy games while introducing a unique approach to settlement expansion.
