About This Game

Exomates is an open-world, cooperative survival game set on unexplored planets. The EXOMATES Corporation leaves you on a planet with a basic set of instructions. From this point on, everything is up to you. Play alone or with up to 10 friends to harvest resources, unlock new blueprints, build up your base, and explore dangerous biomes. Examine abandoned settlements and ancient ruins, or track the planet's most dangerous beasts.

Advertising pamphlets call this exoplanet "conditionally suitable for human habitation." The real meaning behind "conditionally" is for you to discover.

Every world in Exomates is generated from scratch. Silicon steppes and forests, bioluminescent swamps, fields filled with crystals, and volcanic wastelands—each biome is defined by unique resources, wildlife, and threats. The further you venture from the equator, the more valuable the finds... and the more dangerous the local inhabitants.

Chop down alien trees, mine ore, harvest plants, and butcher wild game. Every new resource you acquire unlocks new blueprints, from basic tools and walls to weapons, armor, and more advanced workbenches. Need better technology? You'll have to venture where no colonist has ever set foot before.

Build your first walls, place workbenches, and turn a temporary camp into a lively base of operations. Plant a garden and set up workshops. Each new workstation drives your progress forward and lets you advance deeper into the unexplored terrain.

And when a blood moon rises over the planet, predators get meaner and stronger. This time is best spent within sturdy walls.

Scattered among forests and steppes are abandoned alien villages, marauder outposts, ancient ruins, and tons of other points of interest. Every location has its own history and value. Explore, discover useful items, deal with the current occupants, or just grab whatever you can carry.

But dangers don't just lurk among the ruins. Every biome's ecosystem has its own king or queen. Track them down, study their habits, ready your gear, gather your squad, and challenge the embodiments of nature itself. Fighting these creatures is tough, but the rewards make it worthwhile.

Level up your skills, such as agriculture and carpentry, to get better at harvesting and utilizing resources.

Develop abilities that help you survive attacks by local wildlife and fight back more efficiently.
