Mandate of Heaven is an idle brick-breaker that sweeps across the whole of Chinese history, from the legendary Xia dynasty to a steel-clad empire among the stars. The bricks are unrest. Your balls are the forces of history. There is no paddle to miss and no way to lose: you buy, you upgrade, and you watch empires crumble beneath a swarm that never stops growing.

Earn copper from every shattered brick, pour it into a bigger army, and see how far the Mandate will carry you.

Raise an Army of History

Six kinds of ball, and every one of them plays differently:

• Peasant Levy - cheap, plentiful, mostly compliant. The backbone of every army.

• Bronze Dagger-Axe - splashes damage into everything around the impact.

• Crossbow Bolt - ricochets off the walls straight toward the nearest brick.

• Terracotta Volley - bursts into a swarm of short-lived shards. The First Emperor had a lot of these made.

• Assassin - strikes like a knife and poisons the brick, so every other ball hits it twice as hard.

• Gunpowder Charge - slow and huge, and every hit tears away a chunk of the brick's own HP.

And your army changes with the times: all six are reborn for every dynasty, 78 units in all. Your Peasant Levy marches on as Han Conscripts and Banner Soldiers, your Crossbow Bolt becomes a Steppe Rider, and somewhere among the stars both end up as vat-grown Replicants and AI Spotters.

Thirteen Dynasties. Thirteen Bosses.

March from the Xia through Shang, Zhou, Qin, Han, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing, then onward into eras no history book prepared you for. Every dynasty ends with a named boss: Qin Shi Huang, An Lushan, the Yellow Turban rebellion, the Mongol vanguard and more. Some regenerate, some hide behind shield-walls of guards, some summon reinforcements as they fall. At the very summit waits the Heavenly Pillar.

Summon Legends

Nine legendary heroes answer your call, each with a devastating timed ability. Swear the Oath of the Peach Garden, unleash Zhuge Liang and the unstoppable Lü Bu, let the Monkey King Sun Wukong split into 72 golden clones, send Admiral Zheng He's treasure fleet through the most crowded rows, or let Empress Wu Zetian make every blow land three times as hard.

Heaven Is Never Quiet

History rarely holds still. Edicts and Calamities sweep across the realm: comets, dragons, tribute caravans and peasant revolts. Seize the blessings, weather the disasters, and keep the bricks falling.

Spend them on permanent upgrades and the Imperial Ministries, a civil service that buys balls and upgrades for you. Then plunge into New Game+, where Jade Seal bricks resist all but your sharpest shots, or test yourself in special challenge runs like The Great Wall and Zhuge Liang's Tactics.
