Yokai Idle is a premium idle RPG inspired by Japanese folklore and history. Recruit Yokai, craft powerful equipment with randomized modifiers, and create unique builds as you journey through the Ages of Japan.

Your adventure continues for up to 24 hours while you're away. Battle dangerous Yokai, gather rare materials, complete Festivals, visit Shrines, and unlock new content at your own pace. Every action contributes toward expanding your collection, strengthening your build, and discovering new opportunities.

Recruit Yokai inspired by Japanese mythology. Each Yokai grants unique passive modifiers when equipped, allowing you to create completely different playstyles. Pair them with your chosen Class, Species, elemental affinities, and equipment to discover powerful combinations—from devastating poison builds to elemental specialists and resource-focused characters.

Craft and collect equipment with randomized ARPG-style modifiers inspired by loot-driven action RPGs. Discover rare drops, enhance existing gear, or forge your own equipment using materials gathered throughout your adventure. Chase powerful modifier combinations, preserve valuable legacy items, and continuously refine your build as new content becomes available.

Progress through the historical Ages of Japan by funding grand Festivals that transform Onigashima. Each new Age introduces fresh currencies, materials, equipment, Classes, dungeons, Yokai, and crafting opportunities, encouraging you to rethink and evolve your build as the world expands.

Crafting in Yokai Idle is built around item customization and build creation, not simply producing the next tier of equipment. Weapons and armor can drop with randomized modifiers that dramatically change how your character plays.

Hunt for rare combinations, add new modifiers through crafting, improve existing affixes, or take risks to push an item beyond its limits. A poison-focused dagger, an elemental staff, or a defensive armor set can become the foundation of an entirely different build depending on the modifiers you discover.
