80s Horror Survivors is a top-down action roguelite inspired by the monsters, atmosphere, and pop culture of 1980s horror. Dodge relentless hordes, collect experience, and combine strange weapons with VHS companions and supernatural powers. Build a screen-clearing arsenal as you fight your way toward your sister.

TURN HORROR INTO YOUR ARSENAL

Unleash swarms of flies, fire paired red-and-cyan beams through 3D glasses, chain lasers between enemies, summon energy-firing totems, and call down lightning from the sky. Mix orbiting weapons, explosive dark energy, enemy-luring decoys, and spinning tornadoes to shape each run around your own combination of attacks.

Choose upgrades that increase damage, attack speed, range, and other weapon-specific effects. Experiment with combinations and evolve your firepower as the hordes close in.

COLLECT VHS COMPANIONS AND POWERS

Unlock a catalog of 15 VHS companions, summons, and support powers, plus a final mystery tape. Some fight beside you, some unleash supernatural attacks, and others keep you alive or help you grow faster.

• Bully and Cheerleader: close-range allies that take the fight to the monsters.
  
• Kujo: a canine companion whose bark pushes enemies back.
  
• Army of Shadows: summon a formation of six fighters to battle alongside you.
  
• Dead Signal: haunted televisions that release static pulses and electric attacks, with upgrades that make their lightning bigger and more frequent.
  
• Vermithrax and Dragon Trinity: bring dragon fire to the battlefield, culminating in three orbiting dragons breathing fire.
  
• Support powers: healing, pickup attraction, extra experience, and brief invincibility give you more ways to survive.

FIGHT THROUGH THE NIGHTMARE

Battle through The Cursed Forest, The Restless Graveyard, and The Infernal Void on your mission to rescue your sister. Face bosses, unlock new challenges, and take on a separate dog-rescue mission in The Shattered Rift.

Then test your strongest combinations in The Endless Night, an endless survival mode where the fight continues for as long as you can stay alive.

COME BACK STRONGER

Death is another step forward. Use persistent progression and Rebirth upgrades to strengthen future attempts, unlock more options, and push deeper into the nightmare.
