About This Game

DRIVE OR DIE

The dead are everywhere. Your guns fire themselves — your job is to drive. Steer, drift, and ram a weaponized car through an endless zombie horde while auto-firing weapons mow down everything in range. Runs last 5–20 minutes. You will not survive all of them.

BRING FRIENDS — ONLINE CO-OP FOR 1–4

This is why it exists: online co-op for up to 4 players (friends, no matchmaking). Run a slipstream convoy for shared damage and regen, trigger cross-car weapon combos, and revive a downed teammate before the horde finishes the job. Solo rips too — but the apocalypse is better with a convoy.

BUILD A ROLLING DEATH MACHINE

Every level, pick an upgrade card. Stack weapons — front MG, side turrets, rear shotgun, mortar, spinning sawblades, a snow plow that bowls bodies — and chain upgrades into a build that's different every run. Rescue stranded survivors for permanent boons.

THE HORDE HAS A DIRECTOR

The swarm escalates and adapts. Face special infected — acid-spitting Spitters, exploding Bombers, hulking Brutes — fight stage bosses like the Hauler, dodge the rampaging Abomination, and survive the signature Convoy Ambush. Drive the corridor toward the highway gate… if you can reach it.

ONE MORE RUN

Earn cash, unlock cars and weapons, and twist each run with modifiers (curses and blessings). Found a build you love? Share it as a Build Code — five characters your friends can paste and run.

RATED M FOR MAYHEM

A cel-shaded, schlocky B-movie apocalypse — boss title cards, deadpan radio chatter, and more exploding undead than any drive-in ever dreamed of. Crush the horde. Save the soundtrack.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Drive of the Dead is a cartoonish, cel-shaded zombie action game. Expect frequent but stylized, non-realistic violence: you crush, shoot, and explode hordes of the undead, who ragdoll and burst in over-the-top B-movie fashion. There is no realistic blood, no gore, no sexual content, and no nudity. Contains mild language and dark comedic themes.
