Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« I want to provide not only the vision but the ground work to all those that want to support Dim Torment and come along the development journey. I am also a small developer and think Early Access is best for development. »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« The early access would begin on Mar 31, 2027 and at minimum I would expect the finished product to be two years so in Mar 31, 2029. »

« The full version is planned to have a fully fleshed out over world and multiple different environments in levels to play with.

Events and enemies activity after a turn ends in the over world.
Avatar system with custom unit sprites and levels for each, there are 3 planned avatar for 1.0.
Multiple Trials to do in levels.
Skill system that is based on owned levels and upgrades of the levels. »

« As of May 05 2026 the version in per-alpha has:

One Level themed after one avatar.
Unit sprites for the unaffiliated theme.
Save System.
Over world.
Profile system.
Playable Capture and production trials to play in levels.
Ending Turns to generate resources.
Bare bones settings.
Economy and base upgrading. »

Le prix du jeu sera-t-il différent pendant et après l'accès anticipé ?

« Yes there is a 90% chance that at 1.0 the price of the game will change to reflect the state of the release build, of course at the moment I wish to continue development after 1.0. Of course if I fail to provide a good experience and think I have not met expectations the 10% is left to account for such cases.

I also planned to do a kick starter and the funding level will influence the price of 1.0. With more interest we aim to have a lower competitive price.

Hopefully 1,0 will be live on Mar 31, 2029. »

« We hope to build a community that is sweet and supportive, and take feedback with care. We have a vision and hope to implement that but community input is appreciated.

Avenues of feed back will be through our discord, youtube, steam forums as well we have a support email set up. »

The Torment Nexus is a vast expanse of shattered psyches. Where you a fledgling echo of unknown origin push your consciousness to its limits or shrinks back into the echo of the Nexus.

Create your profile, with the ability for multiple each with their own Torment Nexus to play.

Take control of 400 or less units and delve into physical memories with different trials to play.

Slowly grow your Torment Nexus in the over world and take root in each physical memory to achieve new heights.

Become familiar with the shattered psyches of avatar and utilize or shun their existence.

The ability to capture, and develop physical memory and grow your economy for the ability to project, defend, and solidify your claim to exist in the Torment Nexus.

Plan and develop builds for your units, choosing different skills and balance quality with cost.

Engage or passively live in the story of the Torment Nexus.
