What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We've been extensively testing Overhatched with friends and family, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Through this testing we've developed a strong vision for the game's direction and core gameplay experience.

Our goal with Early Access is not to fundamentally reinvent the game, but to work with a broader player community to further refine, polish, and improve the experience. A larger player base allows us to identify friction points, gameplay balancing opportunities, bugs, and edge cases that are difficult to uncover with smaller testing groups alone.

We believe Early Access is the ideal way to ensure Overhatched launches as polished, fun, and chaotic as intended.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We currently expect Overhatched to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 months to 1 year.

Development timelines can evolve as we continue gathering feedback and improving the game, but our goal is to use this period to expand content, polish systems, and prepare the game for a strong full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The core gameplay, cooperative chaos, and primary gameplay loops of Overhatched are already well established, and we do not anticipate major changes to the overall direction of the game during Early Access.

Our primary focus throughout Early Access will be content expansion, refinement, bug fixing, balancing, and polish.

Players can expect the full release to feature:

Significantly more playable facilities and maps
Additional gameplay content and progression opportunities
Continued gameplay balancing and quality-of-life improvements
Bug fixes, optimization, and overall polish informed by community feedback

We plan to steadily expand the amount of content available while continuing to refine the underlying framework of the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Overhatched already delivers the core cooperative gameplay experience.

Players can hatch, raise, and sell dinosaurs while managing supplies, inventory, production chains, and facility logistics in chaotic 1–4 player cooperative gameplay.

The core systems, gameplay loops, and overall direction of the game are in place. While the Early Access version will launch with a smaller selection of facilities and content than the planned full release, players can expect a fully playable and enjoyable experience that will continue growing throughout development.

Additional content, maps, improvements, balancing, and polish will be added throughout Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes.

We plan to offer Overhatched at $15 USD during Early Access.

As additional content, polish, and improvements are added throughout development, we expect the full release price to increase to approximately $20 USD.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is an important part of our Early Access plans.

Our initial testing with friends and family has helped validate the direction of the game, and Early Access will allow us to expand that process to a much larger audience.

We'll be actively listening to player feedback regarding gameplay flow, balance, usability, friction points, bugs, quality-of-life improvements, and overall player experience.

Community feedback will help guide ongoing polish, improvements, and refinement throughout the Early Access period as we continue expanding the game toward full release.”

About This Game

Raise dinosaurs. Fulfill orders. Survive your coworkers.

Overhatched is a chaotic 1–4 player local & online co-op management party game where you and your team hatch, raise, and sell dinosaurs from increasingly ridiculous production facilities.
Think fast, work together, and try not to destroy your operation in the process.
Every facility becomes a frantic balancing act of physical inventory management, fishing, farming, feeding, logistics, and teamwork gone horribly wrong.
One missed task can send the whole operation spiraling.

HATCH. RAISE. SELL.

Build your dinosaur business from the ground up.
Order supplies, hatch eggs, raise dinosaurs to maturity, fulfill customer orders, and load completed shipments onto the truck before time runs out.
But raising dinosaurs isn't easy.
Different species require entirely different production chains:
🦕 Herbivores need crops you must grow and maintain.
🦖 Carnivores require livestock breeding and meat processing.
🐟 Piscivores demand freshly caught fish that must be cleaned and prepared.
Every dinosaur is another logistical problem waiting to happen.

MANAGE YOUR FACILITY

Each level is a fully operational dinosaur facility located in unique environments ranging from farmers markets to crowded city warehouses to remote island operations.
Use your facility's:
- Supply ordering computer
- Receiving docks
- Shipping bays
- Forklifts
- Crop plots
- Fishing docks
- Incubators
- Nurserys
- Livestock pens
- Processing stations
Everything arrives on large pallets, forcing you to manage valuable floor space while keeping supplies accessible and production flowing.
Or... you know... pile everything in the middle and regret it later.
