Playing cards, mirrors, a mysterious circus, and a certain red-haired magician. Follow the story of Lara, a young woman who ran away to the Circus of Fortune — or jump straight into Roguelike Mode and enjoy a variety of mechanics, ranging from minor card upgrades to a… SLOT MACHINE!?

Larvis is a card game that utilizes rock-paper-scissors mechanics based on card suits and incorporates new abilities as Lara progresses on her artistic journey through circus performances.

Uncover her past, choose her future, and read the cards in this mirthful adventure that transcends the boundaries of narrative games and tabletop titles!

Each one of our dedicated artists (and the poor programmer...) created unique decks for you to use during the game! Change the artwork at any time in the settings menu and pick your favorite!

Story Mode

Dive into Larvis' campaign, told through the structure of a narrative game, and uncover the mysteries of the Circus of Fortune and its performers. Nothing is as it seems, not even your own reflection in the mirror!

Roguelike

Whether before or after Story Mode, you can dive into a universe of infinite possibilities, wacky power-ups, and increasingly tough bosses, trying to survive as many rounds and matches as possible and achieve the high score!

Multiplayer

Invite your friends to play online matches, thanks to native Steam support! Choose your power-ups, build your deck, and surprise your opponents with every new move!

The first version of Larvis was created at Global Game Jam 2026, for the theme "Masks," in just 48 hours! And also, Lara's favorite food is Açaí.
