About This Demo

WELCOME

This is the demo version of Demra: Rifts at War — a classic 90s-inspired RTS featuring direct hero control, grid-based real-time movement, base building, and tactical army combat.

Play as Aleria, a paladin archer wielding powerful light magic, and lead the Iron Fist Order against the demonic forces of the Shattered Creed.

DEMO CONTENT

• Play the first four campaign missions

• After mission two, continue the campaign or access skirmish mode freely

• Test three handcrafted skirmish maps against the AI

• Experience all three tech tiers and the core gameplay systems of the full game

• Build bases, gather resources, train troops, research upgrades, and command armies in real-time battles

FULL GAME FEATURES

• A 15+ mission single-player RTS campaign

• Fully voiced mission intros and in-game voice acting

• Rendered cinematic sequences

• Additional missions, gameplay content, progression systems, and polish currently not included in the demo

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Almost all of the game is hand-made art and code, but A.I. has been used to create concepts and is used in the workflow to quickly get ideas for logos or assets.
Currently generated, but modified assets:
- Unit Portraits
- Voice Overs
- 2 of 3 render videos
- Two backgrounds

The intention is to be more efficient as a solo developer with limited budget, but later replace all what is a.i. by talented artists. (The a.i. content can actually help to communicate better what is needed)
