About This Game

Make the extraction call—not the shot

Grey Zone Company Simulator is a single-player, offline company management game built around automated extraction operations. Run a recovery and security contractor on the edge of an exclusion zone: form crews of up to three operators, choose a contract, issue the leader's weapon, set a risk strategy, and watch the crew search, fight, loot, and extract automatically.

You do not directly move, aim, or shoot. The important decisions happen before deployment, when you make the extraction call, and after the report comes in: who goes, what they carry, how much risk they take, and when to stop pushing.

Coordinate multiple crews

- Manage six operators and three starting crews, reassigning idle personnel as needed.
- Choose from four contract types and issue the crew leader a weapon with matching ammunition.
- Pick a Cautious, Standard, or High Risk approach, trading safety and time for potential returns.
- Send multiple crews out at once and observe them move, search, use cover, exchange fire, carry cargo, and extract across a top-down industrial colony.
- Order an early extraction when the risk becomes too high, giving up the contract's cash and reputation rewards while keeping recovered goods and remaining gear.

Turn every operation into company progress

Claim each report to settle cash, reputation, experience, injuries, and recovered items once. Secure cases and valuable finds enter the warehouse. Sell recovered goods, buy weapons and supplies, treat injured operators, train combat, search, survival, and logistics skills, and upgrade the warehouse, clinic, and intelligence office.

Active dispatches continue to advance from their saved plans and timestamps while the game is closed. Return to check their progress or claim completed reports.

Current playable content

The current version includes six operators, three starting crews, four contract types, four weapons, three facilities, three dispatch strategies, one industrial-colony observation map, four secure-case types, and 102 high-value items.

The game is single-player and offline with one local company save. It does not include multiplayer, cloud saves, or direct-control combat.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Generative AI tools were used during development to create some pre-generated 2D visual assets, including 102 high-value loot icons. The outputs were selected, manually cleaned, cropped, edited, and reviewed before inclusion in the game. No content is generated during gameplay, and the game makes no runtime connection to external generative-AI services.
