Project Angels 2 is a Military Themed Visual Novel and the sequel to the original Project Angels VN.

Steel Waters and Apollyon—two warring factions of the ANGELS super soldiers have tormented the waters of the Indicus Ocean for years. Their maker, a Puppetmaster turned Savior, now aims to balance the two beliefs of liberty and stability, all while reuniting what was once whole under a new home.

Main Character:

Savior—The Commander-in-Chief of Steel Waters

Savior is the narrator, the sole Commander-in-Chief of Steel Waters, and the creator of the A.N.G.E.L.S. super soldier program.

Not much is known about Savior's past, except that Savior, who is not a member of the Waters family, somehow managed to take control of Steel Waters' private security company and its sister companies.

All Savior has always cared about are the Angels. After waking up from a coma, the Steel Waters commander is committed to reuniting what has been fractured.

Faction: Steel Waters

The Angels of Steel Waters are the upholders of stability and the believers of Terra Nova Stability. Given the moniker of Azure Angels, they are the peacekeepers of the Indicus Ocean.

The Azures hunt pirates in the name of peace and stability. Some say the Azure Angels are heroes—the guardians of peace and the modern-day standard of living. However, others see the Azures as nothing but the defenders of the exploitative side of the modern economy. 

The Steel Waters Characters:

Codename: Anna K.

Anna Konstantinovna Waters. A second-to-none Angel warrior. Anna appears to be a straightforward fighter who does her job very well. However, her firm belief in stability makes her a double-edged weapon, defying friends or foes who threaten the stability of the home of the Angels.

For an unknown reason, Anna's 3rd callsign "Waters" has always been and will always be a closely guarded secret.

Codename: Vuur

Vuur is the leader of the Hellfighters' armored Angels. She is one of the oldest Angels and a special forces veteran of many successes and failures. Vuur seems to be wise beyond her age. However, just like Savior, she too has too many worries and doubts about too many things.

Still, the humility of Vuur and Savior doesn't stop their subordinates from idolizing them.

Codename: Vendetta

Vendetta is Anna's most silly bestie. Some think of her as a comic relief character, and she takes it as a compliment. She never lets her gloomy friends, who can only think about ideals and duty, ruin her vibe. That's all known about this mischievous bundle of mischief, or is it?

Codename: Omega

Omega is the General of Steel Waters Marines. She was once seen as the strongest Angel until Anna took the title.

Despite Omega's large, muscular, and imposing stature, these days she prefers to solve her problems with dialogue. Her days of throwing punches and going berserk are mostly over. Still, do not get on her nerves; her old habits of solving problems with punches may die hard and Omega has good muscle memory.

Codename: Xaviera

Xaviera is the General of the Steel Waters Homeguard. She is perhaps more of a money expert than a military general.

However, without this military economist, Omega and Savior would be fighting their wars with a great budget deficit. And wars tend to be harder to win when one has very little money.

Faction: Apollyon

Apollyon is a pirate congregation of rebelling Angel supersoldiers. They call themselves the Sanguine Angels, the executors of freedom and liberty, and the seekers of a new home that would truly last for an eternity. 

Some say the Sanguines are just cruel pirates and smugglers—criminals who take what's not theirs and move goods illegally for profit. However, others see Sanguines as freedom fighters who stand against the exploitative world powers while bringing food and resources to the embargoed populace in need.

The Apollyon Characters:

Zero

Zero, the always scheming leader of Sanguine Angels. She is a self-proclaimed nihilist. Nil. Nothing. She sees that true freedom requires life to be free of any assigned meanings. Free of expectations. Free of controls. Free of chains. And under her guidance, the Sanguine Angels of Apollyon fight to achieve their promised freedom and liberty

Zero is obsessed with Savior despite her claims that nothing matters; to her, Savior clearly does matter. Also, she is obsessed with nuclear weapons, so evidently, nukes also matter to her.

Cipher

Cipher is Zero's temperamental twin.

Unlike her twin sister, Cipher is more brawn than brain. Revenge, justice, finding purpose through struggle, and surpassing her twin sister are some of Cipher's obsessions.

Sometimes, Cipher's desire to escape the shadow of the revered Zero makes this "inferior" twin act before thinking. If Cipher is given an important mission—a chance to outshine Zero—she would rarely refuse it, even if she doesn't fully believe in the mission. Cipher is by no means content with being Zero's second-in-command.

Faction: Rosemeria 

The Rosemeria Character:

Princess Rossa Rosemeria

Rossa is the leader of Rosemeria—a special autonomous region of the country of UIA.

Long ago, the kingdom of Rosemeria was integrated into UIA following the ancient UIA-Rosemerian war. Despite decades of relatively peaceful coexistence between Rosemeria and UIA, grievances over the new hyper-patriotic UIA administration may reopen old wounds.

Today, as UIA continues to decline and Rosemeria remains in the uptrend, some begin to suspect that the princess might be plotting to destroy UIA so her realm could regain independence.
