Your shift begins at a forest watchtower. Before long, the first monsters emerge from the darkness, turning a routine night on duty into a fight for survival.

Necrogen is a single-player first-person shooter combining watchtower defense, enemy waves, and boss duels. Start with a pistol, earn your way to heavier weapons, and prepare for the next attack.

Hold the tower

Stop ground enemies before they destroy your shelter. Watch the tower’s condition, prioritize dangerous targets, and use the breaks between rounds to repair and resupply.

Watch the skies

Once the ground enemies fall, flying gargoyles enter the fight. Their target is you. Dodge incoming projectiles and bring them down before your health runs out.

Build your arsenal

Choose between a pistol, revolver, assault rifle, shotgun, minigun, and disposable rocket launcher. Spend your earnings on ammunition, damage upgrades, larger magazines, and faster reloads. All arsenal purchases use in-game currency earned through combat.

Face the bosses

Starting in round four, enter dedicated arenas for boss encounters. The Ram charges and unleashes shockwaves, the Artillerist fires spreading projectile volleys, and the Broodmother erupts spikes from the ground. Read their windups, dodge attacks, jump over shockwaves, and strike glowing weak points when their armor opens.

Adapt to changing conditions

Weather and lighting change between rounds. Rain, fog, and darkness alter the conditions of your defense, while stylized 3D visuals set the atmosphere for your night in the forest.
