Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« Our game is still in early access as we still have plans to create more levels and bosses for players to fight. We want to start here as we want people to voice their opinions on what we have so far and what we should add in the future or what needs to be changed. We hope that early access will be able to give our game a place to start and thrive until we are able to deliver a great experience for players who play in early access and on full release.  »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« We plan to keep the game in Early Access for about 1-3 years while we continue expanding content, improving gameplay, and polishing the overall experience based on community feedback. Development time may change depending on the scope of future updates and player input. »

En quoi la version finale sera-t-elle différente de la version en accès anticipé ?

« In our early access version we have 2 levels that are pretty much done, but may need some improvement based upon what people say. We have a 3rd level completely grey boxed and with enemies in it but no assets to make it look good for people to play. We also need to add a third boss to it, which would make it playable sometime soon. For the full release we would like to achieve upgrades after killing bosses, a total of 5 playable levels, and maybe a parry system if we think it would provide smooth gameplay.  »

« We have 2 levels done that need polishing and a 3rd level that has been grey boxed. We have the enemies that are to be in the third level done, and just need some player input feedback to polish.  »

« No, we plan to keep it entirely free. »

Comment comptez-vous impliquer la communauté dans le processus de développement ?

« Community feedback will play a major role in shaping the direction of the game during Early Access. We plan to listen closely to player suggestions regarding gameplay balance, level design, enemy behavior, difficulty, quality-of-life improvements, and future ideas.

Players will be able to share feedback through the Steam Community discussions and other community channels. We also plan to closely monitor bug reports and gameplay feedback to help prioritize updates and improvements.

As development continues, community feedback may influence future levels, bosses, mechanics, progression systems, and general polishing decisions. Our goal is to work with players to improve the overall experience throughout Early Access. »

À propos de ce jeu

The Lone Stick is a linear combat heavy platformer where you play as a stick figure named Branch in a stylized world. You like on an island that is ruled by two warlords. One is your adoptive father, and the other is his brother. Your adoptive father is killed by his brother and his followers to rule the entire island by himself. It is now your goal to take revenge on him and anyone who stands in your way. 

Take revenge

You adoptive father was killed by his brother. 

Take up your sword and defeat those who stand with him. 

Upgrade

Pick up gold from enemies and use it in shops to upgrade your character. 


Traverse

Fight your way through our hand crafted and challenging levels, enemies, and bosses by dashing, jumping, attacking, and platforming.
